The Provincial Government of Bataan, thru the Provincial Health Office, launched this morning, the “Batang Bataeno, Bakunado, Protektado” to officially mark the start of the provincial and municipal roll-out of anti-Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11.

Vaccination for the said age group at the Old Capitol Building will be every Friday and Saturday; while for those who are 12 years old and above will be from Monday to Thursday.

Present during the children’s party-themed event were Governor Albert Garcia, Department of Health-Central Luzon Center for Health Development (DOH-CLCHD) Regional Director Corazon Flores, Bataan Medical Society President Dr. Joseph Quan, Dr. Grace Teresita Abello, and Metro Bataan Development Authority General Manager Bong Pizarro.

Last February 8, Bataan started vaccinating children ages 5-11 at the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC).
